Chief Instructor Meeting for Kombatan (Presas Style)

Kombatan Chief Instructors (Presas Style) Get Ready! The Chief Instructors' Meeting for North America (including Canada, United States, and Mexico) will be held in Portland, Oregon - location of the North American Kombatan Headquarters. There are already more than twenty (20) Chief instructors confirmed and planning to attend this year (2010) although the specific dates are being discussed to make it happen as soon as possible. A new web site for KOMBATAN NORTH AMERICA will be made available for information dissemination and data posting. The intent of this meeting is to have consistency on the curriculum (levels, techniques, material, etc.) taught by all instructors throughout the continent. I have been awarded by Great Grandmaster Ernesto Presas as the Chief Instructor of North America and it is my responsibility and duty to implement HIS specific instructions to have all instructors consistent with the material that they are teaching. The Great Grandmaster has given me instructions to coordinate with all Kombatan Instructors on the continent and have everybody consistent on curriculum, techniques and material content. He has expressed frustration and disappointment at camp that some attendees claim to be at high level but fail to execute low level material when prompted. You are welcome to contact him directly for verification of these statements. The overall curriculum will be shared and practiced with attendees of this meeting and will receive authentication as legitimate Kombatan instructors. For those who cannot attend, please contact me or the nearest authenticated State Instructor so that you can be provided with necessary information for authentication.

Future meetings will only take place at schools who have met the qualifications and will be included and entered into the web site as bonafide and real representatives of Kombatan Martial Arts (Presas Style). The rest of the schools who do not meet these requirements will be listed in the Ambassador section of the web site. If they wish to get on board so they are able to continue to teach Kombatan they will have an opportunity to do so before the deadline to be set in 2011. If any ambassador school has not been qualified by the deadline in 2011 they will be removed from the Kombatan web site. Any student receiving a promotion from an ambassador school no matter what level they are promoted to will not be recognized.
